Mystery
Little things that draw me
Closer into loving arms
Trifled blessings made substantial
None should ever have been mine
Day by day more goodness I see
Ways I'm safely kept from harm
Sovereignty which never will fail
The one and only love divine
To think that once we hated him
And then he died so thanklessly
That we should see life not as grim
But also share his gifts so free
Was man, so sinful, a worthy specimen
No certainly not the least bit fair
Then why would he dare to die then
And see it fit a cross to bare
To explain this undeserved love
Would be a great mystery to solve
But as to why he continues to bless us
Will surely the greatest mind dissolve
